The Student Loan
The student loan is a financing alternative specially intended for working students who want to continue their studies, but do not have the money to pay tuition and fees outright. Parents,guardians and sponsors may also apply for a student loan, if the student her/himself cannot make payments. The interest rate is 9% a year and the maximum amount that can be borrowed is SRD 25.000 spread over 4 school years. The loan term is 1 year minimum and 36 months maximum.

What is required for the application:
-Valid ID
-Employer’s certificate or proof of income
-Extract from the population register
